Photography, especially landscape photography, has been Davia Wieczorek’s passion since her youth. She currently works as a fashion photographer.
Torsten Wieczorek is fascinated by analogue photography. Using historical processes such as wet plate collodion photography, he creates wet plates for personal projects and commissions. Together with his partner Dino Rekanovic as the “Viennese Alchemists”, he creates magical worlds of light and silver that seem timeless and at the same time have a modern touch.
With large format cameras and a mobile darkroom, the images are developed on site immediately after exposure.
In addition to the wet plate collodion process, Torsten Wieczorek also produces prints using various alternative printing processes such as cyanotype, salt print, albumen print and kallitype.
